Fishing at the Ranch at Roaring Fork
The Ranch at Roaring Fork encompasses a private fishery consisting of two miles of river frontage along the Roaring Fork River and includes almost four and one half miles of stream fishing as well as over sixteen acres of pond fishing in eight ponds. All homeowners are entitled to purchase fishing permits that provide private access to the entire Common Recreational Reserve (CRR) that is exclusive to fly fishing only. The Ranch at Roaring Fork fishery contains both native brown trout and regularly stocked Hofer Harrison (whirling disease resistant) rainbow trout with trophy fish of both species prevalent in the ponds. The Ranch at Roaring Fork fishing and waterway management operations are carried out in collaboration with the Fishing and Waterways Advisory Committee (FWAC).
